FF windows2000 GPL problem...please help!

Hi
I have a Logitech Wingman Formula Force wheel about a year old.
I recently had to rebuild my PC after a major HDD failure so I thought I'd
upgrade to Win2k. As a confirmed GPL fan its the only game on the machine. I
have installed DX8, Win2ksp1, Logitech V3.62 drivers, Patched GPL with all
the relevant bits etc etc.
The problem is that whilst driving GPL it feels like the wheel is "snatched
out of my hands" whilst turning left or right the wheel suddenly snaps away
and I'm left with a somewhat uncontrollable car!
These are my core.ini settings

[ Joy ]
allow_force_feedback = 1                ; Use FF if device has it
force_feedback_damping =60.000000        ; force feedback damping
coefficient
force_feedback_latency = 0.060000        ; force feedback latency (secs)
max_steering_torque = 300.000000         ; steering torque in N*in giving
max device force

There is another issue in that I have to go into the Game device settings
each time the machine boots, check and uncheck the "report combined axes"
box before GPL recognises my pedals as being on separate axes. I dont know
if this is a related problem.

It is really !"$%^&ing me off that I have got everything running really
well except my only game!

If you have any ideas please help before I lose my marbles completely!

Heres hoping!
Rich

Rich,

Known bug with the 3.62 drivers in Win2K - go to www.wingmanteam.com and get
the 3.65 drivers for Win2K, they solve the problem.
