Hi!

I just bought GPL after buying my Thrustmaster FF Wheel(it rocks), and I'm
having trouble installing GPL on my XP system - with Geforce 2 Pro.

I install the gpl12_uk.exe patch and the gpl_d3d.exe patch for Direct 3d
support. When I select RACE, I get a window that says I need to put the CD
in the drive...what have I done wrong here?

Where did you get your 1.2 patch from? Install the one which is included
on the CD. It works.

Where did you get your 1.2 patch from? Install the one which is included
on the CD. It works.

Is it the budget version of the game?
Try the patch on the CD rather than the one on the net.

Also, have a look at the GPL forum at http://forums.racesimcentral.com
which is by far the best place to get fast help on GPL.

Amund get the discofix and cpu patches from http://www.papy.com u need
them and the cpu patch has a no-cd built in

The CPU speed patch includes the discofix, so you don't need to get both.
