i noticed that when i start a single race at dega, after i qualify and start
race, while i am on pitrow, the announcer does not say"gentlemen, start your
engines" as he does at the other tracks. the engines just start and the cars
roll off pitrow. anyone else experience this minor but annoying problem???
thanks  don

It's a bug. You need to set it to full pace lap to get started.

Did you install one of the new sound packs? If so then go to your sound
directory and goto the spcc directory and del any file other than the
spcc.dat. See if that fixed it. Those sound packs replace the announcer with
a blank sound.

Vintook

P.S. DON'T DELETE THE SPCC.DAT FILE! you need it.

Same hear,
even with full pace lap and without add on sounds, UK version.
I was wondering about that myself, Being new to Nascar I
thought maybe they don't say it at Tally, anyone ?
