Does anyone have any idea of what would be the minimum system required
to get playable (over 15fps) framerates in Nascar 4.  I currently have a
PII 400, 96mb ram, and a Voodoo 3 2000, should i be able to get by with
this system.

Kai has stated in another thread that
a PII 450 should work well.  the MINIMUM is a PII 266, I'd take that
with a grain of salt....ie 3 cars drawn no detail no sky no stands etc.
I'm of the opinion that many different levels of systems will be able to
get N4 running, but I'm doubtful all but the most powerful will be able
to see N4 in all it's graphic glory.

You have the recommended system, so it should be fine.

And if they know, they don't want us to know it.

Reccomended systems always give mediocre performance. For some this is fine.
I'm still running GPL with a V2 and I get along, but for some this would not
be enough.

I'm always very sceptical about reccomended systems.

He was talking about playable over 15fps too.  For me 30+ is playable in general
but of course GPL needs the full 36fps. The  N4 recommended system (P400) should
be able to do 15fps you would think. :-)

Jason.
