GPL screen res patch??

I happened upon a patch for GPL the other day that allows you to run the
menu screens at the same resolution as the racing view, however I didn't
think it was a very useful thing.
Now I realize that that would be nice, so I'm asking if anyone would
happen to know where that patch is??
I've searched all over, but I have no idea where I saw it.

Ive never heard of it, i would also like to know where to find it but what
is the advantage?  Just doesnt have to change over when you go to race,
maybe load up faster but any other advantages.

GPL screen res patch??

You'll find it under "patches" on the "Fast Lane" site
(http://www.grandprix2.com/gpl/). It is actually a Banshee fix that fixes the
texture drop-out.

That's about the only advantage I was looking for as well. I left 800x600 long
ago, and I hate seeing the desktop for that brief second between the screens
at that res. :)
