Super 1 Karting crashes to desktop

When I click "race" or kart.exe it starts a full screen window then closes
itself. Tried a DOSPrompt and got the same business, no message.

Any ideas?

You'd think they could've hired someone to make write a little popup window
into the program. Nothing fancy, just a reminder that it's looking for the
CD.
