Mac OS X 10.2.3 is out!  Brings OpenGL v1.4 and adds Force Feedback
support via HID
(system/library/frameworks/forcefeedback.framework and
system/library/frameworks/forcefeedback.framework/versions/A/forcefeedba
ck and system/library/extensions/immersionForceFeedback.kext and
system/library/extensions/LogitechnForceFeedback.kext), to the
Mac!!!!!!!!!

Woo Hoo (tm)!!!!!!!

Workin' fine w. Snortport dual gig and a MOMO!!

Update via Software update (51 kb) or:
http://www.racesimcentral.net/(10.2.2->10.2.3)
http://www.racesimcentral.net/
(10.2.x->10.2.3)
(aprox 59 kb)

then get the Feral F1 CS 2k updater:
http://www.racesimcentral.net/

On my G3/350 with ATI Rage 128 the framerate in Racer went down
massively when smoke was displayed. From 30 down to 5.

With 10.2.3 framerate stays almost where it is regardless how much
smoke I create. Great improvement.

You are making awfully quick assumptions about where the problem lies.  It
could be that the Racer Author needs to change something for compatibility.
