Just saw a price at CompUSA for F1 2002...$19.95.  Competition is a good
thing I guess.   I was getting hesitant about F1 2002 but surfing the mod
pages has convinced me.  The 50 car LeMans 2002 mod looks impressive.  Of
course the FIA 2002 mod and the ALMS mod(update I hope).  I hate the
multiplayer failure, but if that is a good price tomorrow...I'll be there.
G'nite!

Hmmm... Less than $20? Now that sounds interesting...
They say one should e-mail them to ask for international delivery costs...

Well I might give it a try for that. Didn't F12001 drop like this before a
new version came out?

Same at my local Electronics Boutique.  I guess it's time for the
mid-product-lifespan MSRP cut.

nothing to be frightened of, and no limit, any fool could get into
a motor car and racing would not exist as a sport." -- Jim Clark

Yes it did.  But from what I have heard here, the next EA racing product
will be Nascar Thunder, using the F1 2002 engine.   Now the producer for
that is the same, in his last interview they claimed to have several mods
lined up for it.  I don't know what those would be unless the CART World
Series thing was moved onto the Thunder platform as well. (hoping against
hope that the Evil ONe hasn't tainted that product as well.)

Saw the same thing a few days ago also.

Yesterday I stopped by a nearby Circuit City to check their price. They
still had it marked $39.99. I said what the heck and asked if they would
price match to CompUSA and Electronics Boutique price of $19.99.

Wow!!! Without as much as a blink of an eye they price matched to $19.99 AND
took 10% off the difference. Got it for $17.99 plus tax.

I guess Circuit City IS trying to improve their customer service as my last
2 or 3 times shopping there has been pleasant unlike about a year ago. I
even returned a video card about a month ago and it was an absolutely no
hassle return with no "open box" fees or other nonsense.

The truth is out there. You just have to look in the right places and ask
the right questions.

There is alot of mods in the making. www.hcmotorsports.com has the Craftsman
Trucks, and a CART mod in the works. There is another site working on a ASA
mod (Whoo hoo!).

I was gonna include those in my original answer, but then had a case of
the 'not sures'  I was not sure if those mods were for Thunder or the next
version of Nascar Heat..   :)  Thanks for the info..
