F1 2000 : pit time

by * Leon » Wed, 21 Jun 2000 04:00:00

Hi

Sometimes when I pit for a simple
wheel and fuel I get something like 22secs
just sitting there..

I note they have YET TO CHANGE TIRES
( which should be the first thing done )
and seemingly very little sound around the car
( indicating no activities )....

but on other occasions things get done pretty
fast especially on Mclaren or Ferrari

I wonder if pit times are related to team
than to the work needed ???
( I was driving invurnerable so there should
not be any damage repair )

Thanks and regards
Leong

Ask for a pitstop.  If you have the headset communications on,
they will tell you if you can come in, and will be ready for you.

Once the crew told me I couldn't come in yet
because my teamate was still getting his wing
fixed.
