Good thinking everyone, I had forgotten most of that.
to sum up..
A. Do NOT move Heat from it's default installation path. Don't ask why
just don't do it. I don't care how you feel about that...let Heat install
to drive C:\ If this presents a m***problem for you, then abandon the
sim. Getting around this feature is just too complicated.
B. Look for the Nheat.exe(that would be the nocd exe) instead of Nascar
Heat.exe
c. You should be able to check your version number on the options screen.
If you have patched correctly, it will have a much different number than
v1.0. To run the mods and probably the nocd, you must have properly
patched the sim first.
