How many owners of N4 own a copy of NH and how many of you still play it??

While I own a copy of Heat, it no longer resides on my hard drive and hasn't
for several months. I found it to be a dissappointment for me and my tastes.
N4 I suspect will remain on my hard drive for quite some time.

i run heat more because my 1.1ghz chip/motherboard is down for repairs.
heat likes my piii 500 much better, heat has some nifty mods...the trucks
and CART and IRL patches add value. AND...I can run 50% offline races with
2x wear and still get a whole bunch of pitstops in.

I bought Nascar Heat the day it was released. I had fun with it for a
couple of weeks. Then when it became apparent that it's multiplayer
capabilities were never going to be fixed or expanded it came off my hard
drive and I went back to waiting for N4.

NH was never a good multiplayer game, that was apparent in beta testing so
once the testing was complete, which I was thankful to be a part of, it was
promptly removed from my system. I never even installed my 'free' copy.

N4 on the other hand has been on my system since day 1 and will probably
reside there until N5 or something comes along to take it's place.

I have both installed and play both, but I prefer N4 overall. Still
pissed that neither has a "save during race" option though.

I keep it around for friends, nephews and others who want to race but can't
handle N4...

I'd like to see them build a Cart/IRL sim around the engine. Someone NEEDS
to develop a modern-day Cart/IRL sim.

I prefer Nascar, but like both.

I use it to run the awesome Lemans heat mod. Can't wait for some new tracks.

Barney,

I still play NH from time to time, but never online. It's a lot more
user-friendly (to cop a phrase), so when I have non-grognard friends
over....
