Will Nascar 4, Nascar Heat, WSC, appear on XBOX ?

I was thinking that perhaps Papyrus's next big project may be Nascar 4 for the
XBOX, which could be far more profitable than the PC version. In addition, an
XBOX version would likely solve alot of the framerate problems many of us
experience on the PC with full fields and all of the details turned on, since
N4 would likely be tweaked to run between a constant 30 to 60 FPS on the XBOX.
Also, with a big screen HDTV for display, the game could have a huge visual
impact compared to a higher rez but much smaller PC monitor.
Nascar Heat and WSC might also show up on XBOX, especially given that WSC is
going to be on the Playstation 2 this year.

A 733mhz celeron is not good enough for 60fps full detail in nascar 4.

A console game isn't guaranteed to have a good framerate.  IGN panned
the framerate of Perfect Dark for the PS and Unreal Tournament for the
PS2 [1].  If Papyrus is successful in tweaking for a good framerate,
it will likely be due to the same tweaks you can make in the PC
version.  At least the PC version is scalable.  I doubt N4 for the
Xbox will look any better on the Xbox 2.

I am kind of intrigued by the convergence on HDTV's 1920x1080.  PC and
console games may actually look good on an HDTV.

Papyrus has only made one or two attempts at console
games and, if I recall correctly, they weren't very sucessful.  Now Nascar
Heat has already been ported
over to one console system...I would think that if there
is a NH 2, that would be a lock for the Xbox.

Actually it is a PIII chip and will have the nVidia NV20 graphics chip within.
My guess is that it would ru very well, considering you don't have to account
for thousand of different motherboard, graphics, sound harddrive combinations
that are out there.  Plus you don't have incompetent people mucking up driver
installs and then complain that a game doesn't run properly.

60fps should be easy.  Harddrive for downloadable carsets, broadband for online
racing.  Paintshop to customize your car.  It could be pretty sweet.

WSC is being developed for the PS2 but I'm not sure about XBox.  Maybe we'll
see it on the Xbox though since WSC and the XBox will be using DX8.

I haven't heard about anything except a PC version of NASCAR 4.
