I won my first race (actually 2) on sunday.
and installed patricks killer sounds.
Now when I choose the join button, i get
" xxxx's race no longer available" in every race.
I reinstalled everything.
Still the same.
Is it because I won a race?
Some kind of insidious worm installed by the programers
to keep the winners circle to themselves?
Or do I have something screwed up?

Usually this is caused by an incorrect path for GPL entered in the VROC
setup. With the crumbling cookie problem VROC had, it is likely that
your GPL path is not exactly perfect in the VROC setup.

You could turn on the notification for cookies, but I can tell you
that it will become extremely irritating (had other words in my mind
but just kept myself from putting them here:)). Nowadays just about
every site uses cookies for ..err.. just about anything (phew, caught
myself just in time again).
But in cases like VROC it is good use of them, for the visitor/user.
