GPL: Black Flags, what's up with them ?

by Roger Squire » Sat, 29 Jul 2000 04:00:00

I just started novice races on nurburgring and got black flagged two races
in a row after the first lap.  Talk about annoying.  Can someone explain the
rules for the game giving you black flags ?  Thanks much.

I am new to GPL too.  I got the black flag for creeping forward before the
green flag dropped.

You will also get black flagged if you cut across the grass.

I think you can get black flagged for resetting too many times in a single
lap, which would make it more of a likely event at the ring.  Also for
rolling at the start....so make sure your not doing that

There is a new feature in GP3 regarding black flags.
It is linked to your ***.
If it sees that you are reaching for a can of beer or a cigarette whilst you
are driving then you automatically get black flagged.
It all part of this new politically correct driving safety campaign that F1
is driving to promote.

Its iffy, there's only some tracks with some 'cheating' kinda markers.
Check the track.ini for the tracks and you may get an idea were they
are, then, avoid them :)
