A white flag tells the driver that there is one lap left in the race.
It also tels the driver that there is slow moving traffic ahead.  A
yellow flag tells the driver to be prepaired to stop ahead, Be on your
toes, ect because of either an accedent or debrie on the track, and in
the case of WGI once in a while... Because there is a wood chuck or
rabbit or deer on the track;-)

During races in GPL there are yellow flags shown. Unfortunately they are not
always yellow, but more often white. Has anyone any idea, what the cause
could be? I use the 3DFX graphical option.

Thx, Wouter

a yellow flag tolds you there is a crash in forn of you ...

white flag means there is a very slow car in front of you (someone with a
failure, ambulance, ricardo rosset ... :P )

Well that woud have been true if GPL simulated an american racing series...
:-)

In the rest of the FIA "sanctioned" world a white-flag only means that
there's a *real* slow car (could be tow truck or race car) ahead of you, and
nothing else.

The white-flag on last lap is an american "thing"... although I must
admit... a damn good idea too :)

I think white flags mean "car ahead getting underway", effectively, the car
ahead has just recovered/restarted and is moving slowly.
