And the reason of that is,..i'm always starting at the back of the grid!
I can't get any closer to the flag,the other cars are so fast and my driving
is so terrible,.....But i'm loving every second of it!!!!
Am i the only one who's always starting at the back of the field,or are there
any "drivers" that are just as bad as me??
I must confess i bought GPL just yesterday,but already tried a lot of tracks,..
PFFFF...what a great game!!!!!!

A couple of days ago i suggested to this NG to start a GPL NG,...cause i didn't
know that GPL could be this ***ing........shove aside F1RS and his MF1GP2 or what
the sequel is called.....there are only to sims for us F1 fans,...GP2 and GPL!!!!!!

I can see the flag...but only cos I run with 8 opponents! <g>
Time for some system tweaking...and a wheel...and some more hours..

didn't see the starting flag too ....
set my detail bias to 100% and ... *wow* ... there it was, that little
green flag on the left side of the starting grid in monza. (all other
options on and maxed too)

do i have to say, that my fps dropped dramatically because of detail
bias? and until now the starting flag is the only difference i've
noticed with bias at 50% and at 100%.

Naw...I'm pretty bad too. My best at Monza is only 1:36 and something.
Yesterday was the first race (6 laps and 14 opponents) where I (a) didn't
crash, and (b) didn't finish last, though I beat only one other driver. I
felt like I'd won the F1 championship.

My recommendation is to keep an eye on the cars around you and as far to the
front as possible. As SOON as you're in the car on the start line, press the
clutch, engage first and get the revs up to a comfortable level for getting
off the line. As soon as the cars start to move, release the clutch and you're
away. Sadly my starts are usually pretty bad because I don't pay enough
attention... so maybe my advice is to be ignored ;)
