I thought I'd check out the demo and have some questions that maybe
those of you into the sim may be able to answer.

My pedals are home built (3 pedals) and they work in reverse in this sim
(but correctly in all others.) Is there a way in the demo and/or in the
commercial version to change their direction?

I read that the TrackIR works with this sim. Is that only available in
the commercial version? If it is available in the demo, how is it enabled?

The demo doesn't appear to support an H-shifter (just shift up/down),
does the commercial version support an H-shifter?

Reversed? Do you mean starts off with full on until you press pedal?
Not sure if this can be changed. You certainly can change which pedal
represents brake and which accelerator.

Yes that's what I mean. With my foot off the gas pedal (for example),
the red bar is all the way to the right. As I press the gas pedal, the
bar goes to the left.

So when the race starts, and without pressing any pedals, the gas is
floored and the brake is full on.

I *think* this was fixed in the first patch for the full version but it
probably depends on your pedals. Somebody over at BH Motorsports might be
able to confirm that.

I haven't found the answer yet, but I can reverse my pedal direction in
software (I am using a PlasmaLite v2). It's just that I'd rather not
have to remember to flip them back and forth ... cause I know I'm gonna
forget.

True, but given that this is lightyears ahead of any other rally simulation
available, it's worth a little bit of incovenience.

Speaking of inconvenience, does anyone know if they ever released the mod
for mouse control in the menus?

This I can answer and its sort of. There is a mouse mod but there is no
arrow cursor to move where ever you want within the menu. The mouse
simply scrolls up/dn/lf/rt within the menu items.

There should be an "input.ini" file somewhere. (At least there's one
with the retail game....) Try playing with the values there.

That file doesn't exist in the demo. I searched through all the
directories. Good to know it is in the retail version.
