First off let me state that the TSW wheel is excellent and the best available
steering wheel I have ever used.  I have used the ProWheel, Thrustmaster,
Logitech MOMO, TSW 2, Microsoft FF and Precision Wheel and ProWheel from
the San Diego company.

As you all no I was off for 4 years after my first 4 years in sim racing
with the ivga.com.. so I came back and bought a MS Precision wheel and i have
no complaints about it.    I have done just fine..  But while surfuring around
here I found that ECCI has started building CONSUMER pedals for MS and other
wheels.  So I bought a set of ECCI consumer Pedals.. Just 22 lbs, he he... WOW
am I impressed with these pedals.  Its the the people like me that want to
be a TSW Wantabe or ECCI.  Well its about as close as I can get to having the
real thing.   Just wanted to let you know about the new products from ECCI

Look like something from a jumbo jet - but that's just me

:D

No seriously - they look VERY well built - never gonna fall apart. IF they
did - they'd probably injure someone

Hehe, they look over engineered to me! Plus there is no option to add a
clutch, and obviously with that configuration heel & toe is out of the
question!

Cheers

My John Deere tractor has similar pedals ;) I've driven those ECCI pedals,
not comfortable at all .

I've never tried them either and I am sure the build quality is excellent
but there is nothing about them that either implies comfort or nice race
feel not to mention the visual impact.  Don't see them adding to the element
of believing were in a rear car.

Hmmm..........odd, mine are about as comfortable as any I have found and I
have owned just about all racing systems available at one time or another
except the Redline setup.

Ya know what they say. "to each his own" I guess my opinion is about as
valid as anyone elses <G>. I've got a set similar to Redline pedals.
Actually they started out as SRC's if you remember those. I was among those
that got hosed when SRC decided to quit building wheel/pedal setups, all I
did manage to get was a pedal frame. I like the overhead pedals. Just feels
more natural.

I have the Redlines, their configuration is that of a set of real
pedals, you get a clutch too, which makes them fully immerse. I've tried
the old commercial ECCI one and found them to be a totally bizarre way
of controlling a car.

I agree about the SRC pedals. I had decided to get a set about the time they
decided to cease production. As far as the ECCI pedals go I think as you
said as well. They do take a bit getting used to and I modified mine
slightly for a more comfortable feel.

If someone wanted to see my sim setup using the ECCI pedals, I will be happy to send them.  I found that getting them off the ground and using a Bodybuilt chair makes all the difference. Still, I wish I had my original ECCI pedals back.  Like good shoes, the comfort level takes time. First thing I did with the current model is raise the spring rate for the throttle.  For me, its ECCI equipment or I quit sim racing!
