Logitech FFB Wheel--new heavier springs in pedals?

I bought my Logitech wheel 3 weeks ago at Best Buy in Calif.  My pedals
resistance is pretty wimpy.  However. last night I was at a different Best
Buy that had just gotten some new Logitech Wheels in and the pedals feel
much better--more resistance and the spring seems stronger.  Anybody know
the scoop.  This had been the main negative with this wheel.  Did Logitech
fix it?

I sure hope so, this has been my biggest problem with this otherwise fine piece
of equipment. I replaced the springs in mine last weekend with some found at
the hardware store, big improvement.
