Key threads

  • GTR2 release and pedal calibration issues 2006-09-22 · 37 posts
Larry wondered why GTR2 had generated little discussion; others said it was not yet released in many countries, while US buyers praised it after buying it cheaply at Best Buy. Mika Takala explained that ISI-based games could lose half of the throttle travel unless the brake is calibrated first, with Steve Blankenship offering a player-file fix. Others reported no such problem with their wheels.
  • US GT Legends buyers missing online keys 2006-02-14 · 36 posts
US buyers of GT Legends reported that their boxes lacked the online key and that the US distributor Viva Media was slow to respond. Users shared contacts, and an email to a Viva Media staffer often produced a key within hours, though Mitch_A waited six days. Later posts covered Momo setup and TrackIR.
  • Best $200 upgrade for F1 Challenge mods 2004-04-22 · 35 posts
Martin Granberg (Rudeboy) asked whether to upgrade his CPU, GPU or RAM to improve F1 Challenge mod frame rates. Advice was split between a Radeon 9800 Pro and a faster Barton CPU. After buying the 9800 Pro he saw little gain, and others suggested driver cleanup, AGP settings and checking CPU load, while Eldred found his own CPU pegged at 100%.
