N2 hangs creating new driver.

Hi there,
        I'm having a problem with Nascar 2.  Whenever I try and make a new car,
I put in the name of the car press OK and the game promptly hangs.  It
creates a file of the car name.car which is about 132 bytes.  I have
about 15-20 meg on that drive which windows 95 doesn't touch (my drive
is partitioned and Windows is all on another drive, as is the swap
file.  It used to work fine, even with less space on the drive.

Any suggestions...

Have you moved the t_player.car out of your cars directory?  If so, put it
back.
