Is anyone using both Microsoft and Logitech controllers on the same PC?
I'm thinking of getting a Microsoft joystick, and I'm wondering whether
the software will conflict with the Logitech software.  The Logitech
controllers that I have (wheel, gamepad) are all USB, so is it just a
matter of unplugging them when I want to use the MS stick, or will I
have to uninstall software?

Should work, I have a LWFF and M$ Dual Strike on my system. Never had a
conflict, but the Dual Strike goes AWOL sometimes and i have to unplug
it then plug it back in to get it to work.

Just unplugging should work.

Not a problem, I have a USB hub, use a Microsoft joystick, Microsoft wheel &
a Logitech wheel, can have all pluged in & working or 1 at a time.  No
problems with the software either.  Just load both the logi & MS programs,
the PC will pick up on which is pluged in.
Works a treat.  best if they are all USB IMHO

Thanks everybody.  I went ahead and bought a Sidewinder 2 for flight
sims, and sure enough, no conflict with the Logitech wheel.
