I had the same problem, so I run NASCAR from within windows 95.  All you
need to do is open the directory and right click on the nascar.exe file.
 Then choose program, then advanced.  Choose the option to only warn of
MS DOS mode.  Then it will run straight from win95.  (Make sure you turn
off your screen saver tho)  Have fun

The other option is to go to Shut Down and Exit to the DOS mode and run
Nascar from there. Sound works fine.  Although I have graphics problems, but
that seems to be from a cheap Video Card??!!!
