Hi guys...

I've installed a dual boot Win2000 Profession / Win98 machine. I had Nascar
4 working under Win98 and it's not too bad. But I want to move to Windows
2000 (stability :0) and I can't seem to get it working. I can get
version 1.0.0.0 to work with Win2000, but when I patch it to 1.1.0.0 and use
the No-CD patch, it just comes up with :

Error Executing Program

Has anyone got N4 1.1.0.0 to work on Win2000 ???

I hear over and over that stability is why folks want to use win2k. What
are the problems folks are having with win98? I had a lockup problem when I
had netscape on the system, but after deleting that, my current rig has been
very stable. What's the big deal? Are folks REALLY having that many
lockups?
And if they are...how many are using a Soundblaster Live/Nvidia combination?

I have a SB Live card with Nvidia GeForce2 MX, and never have a stutter,
much less a lockup.
I use good ole Win98, that I have kept updated through the windows update
site.

I will say this if you have a copy of N4 there is a little program called
Dameon that will allow it to work as though its the orginal. email if you want
it. It may work then. Win 2k is the better system and was thinking of moving
it over too.

Hi there,

I see you are running w2k, what wheel are you using? I have MS
forcefeedback but have to use win 98 because no drivers for 2000, unless you
can direct me to some.
