Thrustmaster NASCAR Pro Digital Wheel and GPL under Win 2000

by ron beh » Wed, 03 Oct 2001 15:25:52

I have the origional NASCAR Pro Digital wheel, and had it working in
GPL at one time,, but now cannot get it to work.  I'm running Win
2000.  I've disconnected all other joysticks and pedels.   The
thrustmaster software does not say Win 2000, but seems to work when I
run the calibration, I can see the wheel and pedels move?

Thx

I have this wheel and finally solved all probs

Absolutely, do not use any of the thrustmaster software...unintsall it
all (all tm registry settings etc.) and let windows recognize it as 3
axis 8 button joystick. This will get you full functionality, no
deadzone, and reliable split axis ops...

Ditto, Ron.
I had the same problem with the TM wheel.  Someone on this ng (Haqsua?)
gave me the same advice and all three issues immediately cleared up!  It's
now working fantastic :)
