I recently got the Pro Digital 2 steering wheel for my son and have
been configuring it for him.  I got it to work with 4x4 Evolution
after I downloaded the new driver from Thrustmaster (vs. 313.)  I am
now trying to get it to work with Crazy Taxi.  I configured the
bottons in the Thrustmapper window and they  work fine.  BUT, I can't
get the game to recognize the steering wheel or the gas/brake pedals.
I don't see where I can associate the them with keyboard
buttons,either.  If I could just make the gas pedal respond as the up
arrow key, or the steering wheel right respond as the right arrow....

But, I don't see how to resolve this.  Any ideas, please?

I know nothing about the game, so have no idea what wheel support there is.  
Are you saying the game should recognize the wheel without problems, but it
isn't?  Or does the game not support a wheel, and you are trying to map the
wheel buttons/pedals to keyboard controls that the game does understand?  In
the latter case, why not use the thrustmapper software to map the pedals to
the arrow keys?  Or have you tried that already?

Jeff,

Thanks for the reply.  I don't see in the games options where it
mentions controllers at all.  Since I am a bit new to the wheel I am
not sure if that is a necessity or not.  I did map the buttons on the
wheel and that works great.  I don't see in Thrustmapper any options
regarding mapping the pedals or the steering wheel and that is where
my problems are.

The buttons work great, but the steering wheel and pedals are dead in
the game.  If there was a way to map them to the arrow keys I would be
all set, but as I mentioned, I don't see an option for that.

It's been awhile since I had my thrustmaster, so don't recall the
thrustmapper utility all that well.  With my logitech wheel, you can remap
the pedals to keys, just don't know if you can do that with the thrustmaster
wheel.  You may want to repost the topic, changing the subject to something
about mapping pedal axis using thrustmapper.
