Could someone who owns a Thrustmaster Nascar Pro Digital 2 tell me the depth
of its desktop footprint (i.e. how far back onto the desk does the base
sit)?

I recently purchased a big-ass new monitor, the base of which sits about 6
inches from the front lip of my desk.  That's not far enough for me to use
my current trusty Thrustmaster Grand Prix I, which has a footprint of about
8 or 9 inches.

Thanks.

7" from the overhang to the cord exiting out the back of the controller.  It
also has the underclamping thing going on to keep in mind as well, you'll
need 14' spacing from side to side to clamp it down.

Hi SA,

The TM Pro Digital 2 needs 7.5 or 8.0 inches from the lip of yr desk ... or you
can do as I did, and attach a shelf, projecting from beneath the desktop, to
serve as a removeable mount for my wheel.

Yr friend in the aether,
smogbike

If you're concerned about the size get yourself a Microsoft Precision
Racing Wheel.  I wanted to get the Thrustmaster NPD2 myself but was
turned off by the size of it. The MS wheel was perfect.  It just fits
my desk.
