I have a V2 and I would like to buy a V3 2000.
Do V3 work fine with GPL?
Is there any compatibility problem?

No problem if you install the new 1.1 Patch. Otherwise install the 3Dfx
Banshee patch.
I find frame rates are more robust and faster than a V2 SLI set-up.

No problem with 1.1 patch.  Easy fix with 1.0 so either way you're good to
go.  The V3 3000  is a great card btw.  Not sure V2 2000 (not overclocked)
is much of a step up from a 12MB V2.  V2 2000 reportedly slightly faster
than V2 12 MB SLI so getting another V2 for SLI might be a much cheaper
alternative yielding the same performance.

I have a v3 3000 and have no problems.  Before 1.1 I needed to use the
banshee patch, though.
Depending on your system, you may see no performance gain with a v3, but
image quality should improve.

Hey Steve,the GPL 1.1 patch doesn't work for my V3 2000.Installed on Sunday
with retail drivers from the CD,no leftover V2 drivers,clean registry.With
the Voodoo/Banshee fix it works great.

V3 2000 and no more problems since GPL1.1. If I remember correctly, I
still use the CD-drivers. Formerly I had to limit texture to 2MB, now
it runs fine without this limitation.
