Colin McRae and Act Labs wheel

Hello,

Colin McRae won't recognize my Act Labs RS wheel.

All I got is the choice to play with keyboard....

Is there a patch or something to Dl or to modify in some .ini file ?

Thx

I don't know if this will fix it for you, but first make sure that
you've got the newest wheel drivers. The drivers that came on the
CDROM will not work with the game.

Neither Colin McRae nor TOCA2 (both from Codemasters) will work with
the drivers from the CD.  (I've tried them with TOCA2 and the game has
no trouble recognizing the wheel -- and producing an amazing sustained
"Is it safe to race in an earthquake?"  vibration.)    The newest
driver set supposedly fixes this glitch.  That is, if you are already
running Win98.  Otherwise, back to something simpler, like, say, a CH
Products EXL 500 wheel.

Remove "hi" from address or it will bounce....

Hey there, I highly recommend you download our newest Force RS drivers and
then give it another shot. The FF effects in Colin McRae were'nt top notch
IMO as there seemed to be a constant "shaking" no matter how you drove. Toca
2 should give you good effects though and be more than playable. If you have
any probs at all give any of us at ACT LABS a shout. Thanks!
