Hi guys

I never ran N4 much as I pretty much thought it sucked on the road
courses and I'm no big oval fan, but with the release of N2002 I figured
I'd give it a shot

I run WinXP and a V5 card on an Athlon 1.4, does anyone know which
drivers would be preferable to use for N2002, or just in general for Gfx
intensive *** ?

I've downloaded 4 different drivers, Cairy,'s, Dozer's, Amigarmerlin's
and X3dfx's driver sets, however I thought I'd save myself a bit of
hassle and time consuming fiddling and see if anyone else has tried some
of these, I'm currently running with Cairy's driver set and I'm fairly
happy with it, but since the V5 is on it's last legs, I'd love squeeze
some more power out of it if possible, and yes, I've already OC'ed it
:-)

I haven't messed around with racing sims for a while so I haven't been
paying attention to stuff like this lately

I ran Amigamerlin's without much trouble.  Except for the smudging that
appears on the N2002 walls and the track borders...in fact...that was reason
I finally switched.   I never saw much difference in performance between
drivers.  The individual settings make probably as much difference as
anything.   LOD is a big fps killer...find a compromise setting that looks
good but still moves the picture along.

Ok, thx for your input Dave, saves me the hassle of switching between a
number of drivers, I have like 85 MB's worth of V5 drivers here now :-)

And yes, I know my V5 is dire need of replacement, I just can't seem to
find any Radeon 8500 cards around here right now
