N2002: Temporarily Disable Joystick b4 running N2002

I have a controller issue with N2002.  I have a usb MSFF wheel and a
usb Thustmaster joystick/throttle combo.  When I have the joystick
plugged in, it screws up my conrtroller settings in N2002 since N2002
reads input from ALL connected controllers.  This would not be a
problem except that when I go to select which axis to use for
steering, throttle, etc. my thrustmaster sends just enough data that
as soon as I click on the steering it senses the joystick and uses the
joystick axis.  The same happens for throttle and brake.  The only way
I can get it to work is to physically unplug the joystick from the usb
hub.  If I forget to unplug it I have to exit N2002, unplug it,
restart N2002, re-calibrate.  It is a real hassle.  Is there anyway to
temporily disable the joystick in Win XP or is there any way to tell
N2002 what controllers to use?
