GPL, openGL.. can't find openGL file to fix

by Turne » Wed, 07 Jun 2000 04:00:00

Hi,

I was directed to either

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\NVIDIA Corporation\RIVA TNT\OpenGL], or

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Class\Display\00
01\NVidia\OpenGL].

I can't find either one... I've tried showing hidden folders, too..

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Andrew

These are entries in the Windows registry.  To access the
Windows registry you need to click on the Start button and
select run.  Enter regedit and click OK.  This will open the
registry editor.

At this point you need to be very very very careful as an
incorrect entry in the registry can be extremely damaging.  I am
not responsible for any damage you may cause using this program.

Use the tree view on the left hand side of the registry editor
to expand the registry entry you quoted in your post and make
the change indicated.

Cheers

Phil

Andrew,

What did you have to change in the registry and what did it do? I'm running
GPL with openGL and would be curious to know if there is something I can do
to improve the mirrors. Thanks in advance.

Hi Ken,

Check the string called "GPL, Nvidia 2.03... mirrors still flickering" below...

I'm using the more recent drivers that allow block transfer from
the control panel. I thought this may be something new.

Thanks again,
Ken
