GPL, DX7, deadzone

Hi folks,

FInally got over several hurdles which lay between my SBLive, my new
Voodoodoo3 and my Thrustmaster SuperSport, and mostly all seems fine.

But I've got what feels like a huge dead zone in the wheel, and the old
trusty deadzone.exe doesn't seem to be able to find and patch the new
dinput.dll to a deadzone of "0."

Any other ways to do this?

best,
David K.

David you need to find a program called DXTweak. It will scale deadzone
to any value that you would like. I'm sorry that I don't have a link for
you but if you do a search on Deja.com I'm sure you'll be able to find
it fairly quickly. This little program will also allow you to set the
center on each axis which I've found very useful in GPL to be able to
adjust the clutch so it will engage at any point you choose. It will
take you a couple of run throughs to get it prefect but I've found it
really makes the clutch much more comfortable to opperate when you know
exactly where the clutch grabs. DBH

Have you tried DXTweak from:

http://www.wingmanteam.com/Latest_Software/Gadgets/gadgets.htm#DXTweak

It worked wonders for my machine.

Win98, PII400,Creative Banshee, SBL Value, DX7.
