LWFF Profiler, GPL & Deadzone

Can anyone explain to me where this deadzone in GPL is coming from? When I
run GPL with the LWFF Profiler, there is a slight deadzone which makes
transitions such as the Masta Kink and the esses at the Glen very difficult.
I have the Deadzone in the Profiler Axis Properties set to the minimum. When
I run with the Profiler shut off, I get great FF effects and no deadzone at
all. I have downloaded and used DXTweak from the Gadgets page on the Wingman
Team site. I am much smoother and faster without the Profiler on, but I
really like using the features provided by the software.

Thanks...

I've noticed the same. Couldn't get a linear, zero-deadzone wheel with the
profiler (3.20) running. I also tried DXTweak, but it does nothing in GPL.
CTFJ works in GPL for setting deadzone, but I doubt it can remove the
deadzone which comes from the profiler.
It seems, the only thing which works, is to drop the profiler for GPL and
live without fancy button assignments.

I thought I was the only one who found the effects of the Profiler
difficult to deal with. Glad to see there are others ou there!

I really would like to use the Profiler, since the new version (3.30 I
think) has some good features like separate set-ups for each game.

I think we should pass our findings onto the LT team.

The minimum dead zone in the Profiler is still 2%! That's enough to give
you a hard time at the wheel. You have to use DXTweak to set the dead
zone to zero.

DXTweak does not have any effect on GPL. The only ways I know of to get
rid of the dead zone introduced by the Profiler are to either uninstall
it, or use the CJTF utility.
