SCGT headlights

SCGT headlights

I recently downloaded the SCGT demo, and I like it a lot, but I have a
couple questions about the full version.

In night races in the demo, I can't see the headlights from the in-car view.
Yes, I know 'H' toggles them on & off, and I can see them shining on the
pavement in external views, but not in-car.
In the full version, do headlights work?

Also, I'm not able to select 1024x768 resolution.  Is this a limitation of
the demo, or of my vid card (SLI voodoo2)?

Thanks

No they don't!  Unbelievable isn't it?  I can only think that
they didn't expect that anybody would actually want
the "realistic" in car view.  There isn't even a***pit until
you download the official patch for the full version.  There is
also an excellent "All dash" patch which gives all cars
individual***pits.  The headlights issue does lead to a bit of
concern regarding F1 2000.

I also get 1024x768 blanked out when using my V2, I get it in
D3D though.  No idea why.

It seems to me that Sports Car GT may have been intended to have just
external views, but at the last moment the in-car view was thrown in, which
is why the***pits are the same no matter which car you're driving.

You're mistaken about one thing however, without the patch Sports Car GT
DOES have a***pit. You need to press the F4 key when you're in the in-car
view.

Yes, correct, what I meant to say was there is no dash on the
unpatched***pit view.

Is there a patch available to make the headlights work?

No, unfortunatly.  There are patches for just about everything
else in SCGT apart from the headlights!

Gunslinger found some lines in the scgt code that seemed to indicate
headlights could be turned on, but that was months ago and I've heard
nothing since.  The lights do come on, you can check it by choosing an
out of the car view, but you can't see them in the car.
They are right, scgt was originally gonna be just a tailgunner
view...awesome lack of foresight there.  You can help things by turning
up the gamma in the game,  and I mean turn it ALL the way up, and you
can go to your desktop settings and increase the gamma settings there as
well.
  I wonder if F12k will have working-in-car-headlights???
