SCGT/SP3 -- Headlight problem

I installed the SP3 for SCGT and after a bit of muddling around trying
to get the engine sound, I am *very* impressed with the improvement to
the game.  But I do have one problem -- somehow the setting for
turning the headlights on and off was corrupted in the MATRIX or
PLAYER (I forget which) file and now I'm stuck in the dark...

What is the correct value that should be put in to make the headlights
operate using the "H" key?

  The headlights do work but only in the outside views,  This isn't just
an SP3.0 problem, but a grevious error in judgement from the original
code.  I guess when you figure we had to badger them into creating a
***pit in the first place it kinda makes sense.  They built the sim for
tail gunners.  Here's hoping the next one will start in the***pit and
work it's way outwards.

I only had SCGT on my hard drive for a very short time when I first
got it -- turned out I'd mis-calibrated the wheel and pedals which
made every car about as anemic as my old '67 bug -- but I could have
SWORN that there were working headlights from the player's POV.  Turns
out that was wishful thinking...  Sigh...

I join you in wishes for REAL headlights for SCGT2 -- a fine game that
deserves further development...
