That's what I meant when I said it. I assumed that it was going to be
ChampCar 2004, which will include the Brands GP circuit. That little Indy
track is a bit like whizzing on a Picasso as far as I'm concerned ;-)

Teheheh that's a classic.  I just can imagine one of us saying "GPL2... pff
it's no gpl!!!"

Yes yes.. a "fresh" and new idea so they can "reach out" for the market.

Sorry you cannot talk about the IRL here <snickers>

Let's see, for CHAMP races the Grandstands for the race are pretty high, and
the world-wide audience is nothing to spit on. How many people watch the IRL
outside of America?  yeah that's what I thought...

But let's cut the political ***here.  What REALLY matters to us?  It's the
racing.  The _motorsport_.  Political ***doesn't affect anything about us,
behind our wheels, racing on the screen.  What we want is something that is
fun to drive, challenging.  I'll take a CART sim.  They are cars that are
challenging, superior in technology, and the tracks are really great.  It's
also a much more challenging multiplayer experience.  Nothing above applies
to the IRL.

High-powered open-wheel road course cars
vs.
Medium-powered open wheel oval cars

Tracks like Laguna Seca, Brands Hatch, Montral, Elkhart Lake, Mid-Ohio,
Surfer's Paradise, Long Beach, etc...
vs.
Indianapolis
Motegi
Kentucky Speedway (ooooh the prestige)
Pikes Peak

A state in the US of A probably, the way our Gov acts they've probably
already signed away our sovereignity (sp) but haven't told us yet, I
can't think of any other explanation

I'm not saying I wouldn't like it. I just seriously doubted the rumors were
true because I don't think CART will help sell any copies.

As for the IRL, I can't force myself to watch a race. :-) I don't watch CART
anymore either though. I used to up until about two years ago.
