Yellow Flag

All,

Sorry for all the post over the last couple of days but the
talking about NCR & ICR has got me going again.

Can some kind person tell me the rules for the Yellow
flag.  I thought that you could not overtake under yellow.  I've
just been overtaken by a number of cars, however if I try the same
I am told that I must keep behind the other car.  What gives?  If
it helps I'm at the back; just about to be lapped. (well I was in
the pits).

Finally, what are the two audio tracks on the CD?  Is
there a way to play them during the game?

The current version is pretty buggy in this regard.  Look for the new
version 1.2 coming out SOON....

Nope...no way....just something to play like a CD...something to fill
space on the CD disk.

In NASCAR one races back to the start finish when the yellow comes out.
After crossing the Start/Finish line one is not allowed to pass any cars
on the track.  However, Papyrus seems to have a minor bug when it comes
to following this rule.  Sometimes you may have to pass the Start/Finish
line twice before the no pass rule comes out.  This seems to be due to
the leaders catching up to the pace car too slowly and how close you are
to the Start/Finish line when the yellow comes out.

You would need to have a dos version of a program to play audio cds to
play the 2 audio tracks during the game.  And since NASCAR is a memory
hog, I doubt that you can spare the memory.  However, you could play the
2 tracks on a regular audio CD-Player (after loading the track you are
racing on).

Another question from a Brit!!!

When the yellow comes out, what are the rules governing the pit being open
or closed??

                  But Looks can be Deceiving

PS: Do any UK TV stations plan to carry NASCAR racing? Remember ITV's
*crap* Indy coverage while Nige was racing??

When I'm at home in Germany I usually watch Eurosport. That has all
(except for Indy 500) of the IndyCar races LIVE. And I believe they also
have a NASCAR coverage. Eurosport broadcasts from the UK (I'm pretty much
sure.)

I have experienced the same thing and hve come to this conclusion.
The leaders are *much* further on the track and have already crossed
the s/f line when the yellow comes out. You must come to the s/f twice.
Got It!
