Anybody decide if we're going to use banked or flat version?

We're going to just go ahead with the flat track.

Then it's settled. The flat track it is. And I am glad. Let me tell you why.

I believe the flat Homestead is one of the finest tests of endurance, and
lends itself well to exciting racing, due in no small part to the
complexities of turn 4. So many different lines through it. Little rivers of
speed run through it, you just have to find them and swim for all you are
worth.

The banked version I tried I wasn't to impressed with. Not so much with the
track but the car.

I agree, I hate flat homestead, but have had some awsome battles
there.  I don't think we should run banked hs until PWF releases it.
As I understand it, there are several versions of banked homestead out
there.  Plus, is there a fixed fast or expert setup specifically for
banked homestead yet?

Why specifically PWF?  THe uspits already have a version out and I think
most here will agree they usually are top notch with Papyrus tracks.
Gilles' version of St Jovite is one of my favorite sim tracks.  The first
version I tried, Banked_Homestead, did seem a little off, 70mph pit speeds
and the grip was pretty strong.  I tried the pit's Homestead2003 online and
ended up spinning repeatedly.(ok, I also seem to have strange responses
with my pedals<time to go shopping again>)  But again...what is PWF
bringing to the table?

Well, whatever version turns out to be the accepted one as the best or
most widely used.   PWF just seems to be the most widely accepted
standard for new tracks right now.

I don't see how anyone could have made a realistic track w/o seeing a
single race on the new config.
