Well, I may as well get it started :)

I wrinkeled my right-front fender on about lap 3, so that was pretty much
the end of my day.  I lost so much forward bite, even after repairs, I
simply could not accelerate up off the corners.

For years I wished for additive repairs in the NR series.  Never got it :(

I think this was my worst finish of the year (15th), even tossing in races I
was a DNF at!

Friggen' flat-tracks.  I say chop em' all up :)

Contrats to #3 for the race win, and Neil for the (non-real) championship!

You can hit return in the middle of a long repair and go back out with
only partial repairs.

That's not what I mean by "Additive Repairs".

In real racing, each time you go to the pit your crew can improve your a
little bit more.  Up to a certain point, of course.

NR has always had a 'canned' repair level.  You get what you get the first
time, and that's it.

Did you save your client replay? -If so, could you send me a clip of the
restart where I ended up in the wall at T1 (lap 72-ish?)? -Due to a
connection glitch your RF fender got an extra ding at my end which chucked
me into the wall. Looking at it from your perspective could reveal which
connection hickupped and perhaps also allow me more insight as to how the
online differs from GPL.

My address is jan *dot* verschueren *at* pandora *dot* be -Thanks.

A "fixed setup" option where one could still adjust on the car in the race
would be nice as well. Last night I could have gone 0.5" down on the
trackbar, and 10lbs of wedge and not have spun out due to the rear end
damage.

Well, this one has already been chopped up and I, for one, regret that as
Homestead and other, flat venues suit my driving style.

Good job getting 3rd.

Jan,

Oh, that was you I punted up to the wall.  Sorry :(

I didn't save the replay.  I was too disgusted with my finish to bother.

However, I'm not going to lay the blame on warp.  It may have been involved,
but I lost the front end and it took off on me and before I could gather it
back in I got in to you.

I asked during the race "Who did I just punt into the wall" because I didn't
know who it was.  I barely saw the car outside me because I think we were
side-by-side.

You are right about changes during the race with fixed setups.  I think
that's a damned fine idea.  I wrinkled my right-front on somewhere around
lap 3 and I didn't have any front end bite from that point on.  It wasn't a
hard hit either.  I could have adjusted around it if your idea had been in
effect :)
