...I have to find the right settings for GPL & LWFF...
I don't know if it makes sense to try out all settings people have posted in
response to a 'Please give me the best LWFF settings that are imaginable'
question. I'd just need to know, how you came to your settings, especially
latency. I think latency is very crucial to get the 'right' feel, and I
suspect the right setting is system dependent.
Has anybody discovered a way to 'measure' if the force is out of phase and
if it comes to soon or too late?
And what about these oscillations you get in straight line, if you 'disturb'
the wheel? Can they be eliminated (or reduced) by getting the right latency?
(or damping?) Or are they present in a real car also? (Have never tried it
with my Ford Sierra on the highway, so I'm still alive... :-))
BTW, I wouldn't mind if anybody posted his 'perfect settings' anyway... ;-)
Thanx!

Here are the settings i use for my LWFF in the core.ini   I left my settings
in the LWFF profiler at 100%, but i don't use the profiler anyway as i use
CTFJ v3.20 for better centering and scaling.

allow_force_feedback = 1                 ; Use FF if device has it
force_feedback_damping = 60.000000       ; force feedback damping
coefficient
force_feedback_latency = 0.025000        ; force feedback latency (secs)
max_steering_torque = 200.000000         ; steering torque in N*in giving
max device force
