Any good sites for learning my way around Itel CPUs and motherboard
chipsets?  I have been messing with AMDs for years, but I'm thinking about
giving Intel a shot this time around.  I'm looking at the Prescot CPUs for
the extra cache and smaller micron, but is it worth it?  Also what is the
prefered motherboard chipset? I'm looking at an MSI with the Intel 865PE. It
got good marks, but I'm kind of lost when it comes to this Intel stuff. lol
To be honest I have lost track of PC hardware over the past year and a half
so I'm way behind on all of it.

Thanks

I found anandtech and Tomshardware quite useful. My rig is now a P4 560 on
an AABIT AA8-Duramax (925x), 1GB PC5300 DDR II memory, twin Hitachi 250GB
SATA disks in Raid 1. Only problem is, a missing PCI-Express video card,
just running an ATI X600 but that should change next week, when the x800xt
turns up. All that plugged into a BenQ FP937s tft panel.

Might want to wait a few weeks, they just dipped the prices down a ton, it
will take a bit of time for the current inventory to be dropped, it could
mean a lot. And Anandtech (even if I can't spell it) does know their stuff.
Hard OCP as well, although they don't cover as much as I would like them
too.
