Wow! Good question, so far my experiences with AMD have been negative. My
PIII Coppermine is working great. Best thing I can suggest for you is visit
http://www.racesimcentral.net/ and read what he has to say. Intel has a lot of
respect for him and that is probably why they would like to see him
disappear(read the articles on Rambus ram and you'll see why Intel hates
him). After that article the stock on Rambus Dropped significantly.
