Which VooDoo 3 Driver??

by RS » Fri, 17 Mar 2000 04:00:00

Not sure how to determine which updated driver I need.

I just installed a V00D00 3 AGP 3000, hardware version  001, with drivers V.
4.11.01.1204, dated 8/27/1999, tools version 1.5.0.45.  From this info., I
am unable to determine which updated driver I need from
http://www.racesimcentral.net/

They list a driver for a V3 3000 AGP, with board version 1.04.00, dated
1/27/00,  but I am unable to determine what version board I have.   Any help
is appreciated.

Also, while I am at it <g>,  since going form a V2 to my current V3, it
seems like I have picked up a slight pause  every so often when using Nascar
3.  Will a driver upgrade deal with this or is this another issue?

Thanks

It is AGP/PCI Boards <comma> Version 1.04.00, that is to say
the version refers to the drivers, not the board.  AFAIK Voodoo3
drivers always target a model, not a particular revision of hardware.

So download those or the slight newer, somewhat riskier 1.04.04
BETA drivers.
