F1 2000 + Geforce 2 = Crash?

F1 2000 + Geforce 2 = Crash?

I've been running F1 2000 v1.06 using a Diamond V770 Ultra with Detonator
5.22 drivers.  This setup ran fine without problems.  I just installed a
Leadtek Winfast Geforce2 and I am getting a crash to desktop.  This happens
as soon as I click on the drive button, or sometimes 10-20 seconds
afterward.  I have a LWFF, and tried turning FF off, but got the same
result.  Turning MipMap off seems to help somewhat.  I can run Test Days
without crashing, but a Quick Race will crash as soon as I click on drive.

Has anyone had this same problem, and found a fix?


and a Vortex2 sound card with 2048 drivers.

I had that problem with the Nvidia reference drivers, but installed
the Creative Labs 5.22 drivers and didn't have a problem since. Pretty
certain it's the drivers you are using. Try a diferent version or
drivers from the manufacturer of the card.
