General force feedback questions...

I am thinking of getting a force feedback steering wheel,
probably to use with GPL mostly.  Does it just plug into the
joystick port like a normal wheel, or do you need to plug it
in somewhere else as well.  I thought that the Joystick port
didn't have any outputs on it (except MIDI).  Also, can you
get a USB force feedback wheel, and are they any good?

I would prefer a USB one because then I can still use my
joystick to play flight sims as well, without having to swap
plugs all the time.

Cheers.

I'm happy with my Logitech Formula Force Feedback wheel that uses USB.  You
also have to plug it into a power outlet.  So far I haven't found out how to
have windows recognize 2 controllers at once and have them both work so I
have to change them in the game controllers options in the control panel

NFS4 is the only game I have seen that recognizes all the controllers
listed. I had my lwff used normally and had a joystick for shifting up and
down, also assigned a ch pedal as the handbrake.
Falcon4 will recognize them but only lets you choose one.
