I-Force vs Force Feedback

Yo!

I've noticed that there is two different types of force feedback: Microsoft
Force Feedback, and I-force. I think Logitech uses I-Force teknologi.

Whats the difference between these technologies? Does some games only
support one of the technologies?

Which technology is preferrable?

I was just going to ask that thing myself !
It would be really interesting to have somebody
shed some light on this matter ....wouldn't it
be nice it there was an article on this on
one of the racing sites?
(maybe there is under alisons tips for FF setup....
but I think it would merit its own article)

regards,

I_force was designed by Immersion Corporation.  That is THE primary
standard that most games support.

So it's (again) Micro$oft who's trying to undermine a standardization?
