'Puter Upgrade and F1RS

by Jerry G. Wilso » Sun, 05 Jul 1998 04:00:00

Hello All,

I have just upgraded my computer from a 486/100MHz to a K6/266MHz MMX
with a 100MHz board and a Matrox Mystique 4MB.  I was wondering if
anyone has tried using similar equipment to run F1RS, and what kind of
frame rate they experienced.  Also, is F1RS Multiplayer the same (as far
as championships and 1-player races) as the standard?  That's all EB has
right now.  Now that I have a somewhat-fastie, I would like to run GP2
with more that 16fps in VGA....  Also, what kind of frame rate can I
expect in SVGA in GP2?  Thanks for all the help, as I am really anxious
to install Win98 and get these things running!

I'll also be running Power F1, just because I still have it....
