Help needed for poor dumb 'puter player!

by Image-inati » Thu, 16 Oct 1997 04:00:00

Hi --- I have Nascar 1 and Nascar2 -- as well as ICR2 !!  Now I would
like to convert the ICR2 tracks (at least some of them) to Nascar 1 at
least .  I have a copy of TOP SPEED utility CD-ROM which is supposed
to make this a snap, but being a poor dumb 'puter player that I am --
and the most formal training I have is turning on the damned thing --
how do I get ICR2 tracks into Nascar 1 simulation without turning the
whole thing into a fiasco -- or even worse.  If someone has a better
converter than TOP SPEED -- I am obviously open for suggestion in that
respect.  I can't seem to get the conversion to work at this point --
I get a step or two, then I am stumped, and un able to figure out
where to go from there.  I know there HAS to be a computer whiz out
there somewhere who can put this in simple english, with the proper
steps in order so as to make it easy to do ----- and I would
appreciate his / her help in that regard.
Thanks for your understanding -- and assistance if you can lend a
hand here.  By the way -- I WILL get the Grand National Upgrade for
Nascar 2 when it becomes available, so it is not really necessary to
convert anything to Nascar 2 at this time -- that will be saved for
the upgrade!!

     Thanks

Hi Doug!

-snip-

Check out 'The Pits', at http://www.thepits.demon.co.uk, there are
converters from ICR2 to N1 and vice versa by Gerhard Lingenberg, plus a
demo of a converter from ICR2 to N2 by Dave Noonan.  They're simple to
use and work a treat.

Hope that helps!
