Dont know about you Marko but the clutch really helps when
the green drops! ;0). Usually gain 3 for spots if not at the pole
& many times I ain't..

I use the clutch at the start, it makes it a bit easier.

I get also very good starts, but without clutch :)

it's matter of opinion, but nowadays I don't need that in start :)

I just hit the gear...

That's what I thought too, until my clutch broke...

You need to use one of the number pad numbers. It's in the manual

Here's one pro-race in Silverstone, had good battle with Casper Gripenberg
:)
everyone's free to download it(3.7Mb) :)

http://www.kolumbus.fi/ken.lie/mv_brabham_silv.ZIP

I didn't have _very good_ start because I revved too much with 1st gear,
should of shifted earlier to 2nd gear and I have this weird soundpatch where
I just can't hear my Brabhams sounds(reason for overrevving), because
Lotuses rev with so much volume in them ;)

Well...I'm going to put original sounds to my Brabham soon :)

I don't use the clutch either.  I have the car in gear with my foot right off the
gas, then when the flag drops I give it a very short blast of full throttle, back
off a tad to let it hook up, then start going through the gears, shifting before the
wheels break loose again.  I can always at least keep my place against the AI, and
usually pick up anywhere from 1 to 4 spots this way.  Tire wear doesn't seem to be a
factor so dropping the initial patch don't hurt.  Never lose engines either.
